Who is it suitable for?

The system was developed in collaboration with National Geographic. The proposed texts are an adaptation of some of the most interesting and successful articles of the magazine. Students learn to speak on a variety of topics, using all grammatical tenses and complex language structures skillfully. Language learning goes hand in hand with the development of students' intellect, the enrichment of their general culture and their harmonious development as individuals.

What will you be able to do after the course?

After completing the Close-Up A2 course, your child will be able to:

  • Read and understand texts of approximately 600 words;
  • Use simple and perfect present, past and future tenses;
  • Handle a relatively rich vocabulary of words related to the world around him/her;
  • Handles all simple and continuous tenses relatively well; recognizes present perfect tense;
  • Uses conditional sentences of zero and first type well;
  • Speaks relatively fluently on topics concerning daily life, hobbies, family, home, travel, etc.;
  • Writes short stories and letters, conforming to genre and narrative tenses;
  • Listens, understands, and easily extracts basic information in the flow of speech;
